Ketchup in my Milk Cup

When you start pouring ketchup in your milk cup, instead of on your plate, you know it's time to take a break! Which is what I just did! Hah.

I have some impending deadlines of doom coming up this week and the beginning of next week. So my mind is running wild. Eating seems to take the back burner on weeks like these! Ah well, that's school for you. I'm working on some really cool projects!

Speaking of projects:

For a project in my graphic design class, we had a competition of sorts. We designed posters for some on campus events and concerts for next semester. There were about five people who designed two posters for each event. Our client was the man in charge of advertising for these events, and he came when our posters were finished and picked his favorites. So if yours is his favorite, then it's going to be used next semester for advertising.

Our client was very particular in what he liked for the posters. He liked photos of the performers. But our professor encouraged us to push the boundaries a little bit. To design one poster that is safe–one that we know he will like, and to design another that is more symbolic or abstract, and try to convince him that it is the best solution.

And guess what!!! He liked both of my posters best out of all of them, and he chose to use the one I designed that is more abstract! I'm pretty excited.
