I don't post photos of myself very often, mostly because I don't have pictures taken of me very often (imagine that!).
This past weekend, my friend Jessica and I decided to go out on a photo adventure, using each other as models. It was soooo much fun, and I think I got the better end of the bargain because Jessica is an amazing photographer. And dang, she made me look pretty good! :)
Show her some love by liking her page on facebook! And you can see some her favorite photos of me here.
The photos below were taken by Jessica and edited by yours truly. Which one is your favorite?

Meet Jessica
This girl is pretty much amazing. She is the design manager at Velocity Webworks (my workplace), and we have become great friends in the time that we've been working together. She started out as a nice co-worker, but now I consider her one of my closest friends.
She's beautiful inside and out. Just look at the evidence below!

Remember That One Time I Flew?
A few weeks ago, John and I took a long weekend and went to visit our family in Montana. It was just what we needed! Most of the time we just relaxed, ate, reminisced, and slept. But we did some pretty exciting things too! Like riding motorcycles. Oh yeah, and we went POWER PARACHUTING! It was sorta scary, but also really cool.

We also fed some birds:
And we read some books:
And now, my stomach is yelling at me [and John]. I think that means it's time to go find something to eat! Grilled pineapple, anyone?

Dogs are Cute.
My sister Valerie has a pup named Ace:
He is the sweetest, cutest, funniest pup. Plus he is very obedient. My baby sisters came to visit this weekend, and they brought Ace with them. We took them hiking. It was lots of fun!

Recent Happenings
I have a really amazing immune system. I hardly ever get sick. John will get a cold or the flu every so often, but I never catch it. But somehow, I've caught something that he hasn't! It's insane. This never happens. I just have a minor cold, it's not too terrible, but I hate feeling under the weather.
I've been laying on the couch all morning, wishing I had an appetite. I'm pretty bored, so I decided to give a quick update on recent happenings.
Sometimes I like to take pictures of John when he is starting to get tired at night:
On Presidents Day, we went with my cousins on a hike to an old indian campground. We missed the main trail, and spent like 4 hours on what was supposed to be an hour long hike. We went all the way around this giant hill/mountain, and then all the way back, and then we just went up the side and made our own trail.
This hill/mountain was basically made of sandstone/cliffs. The ground crumbled beneath our feet and we accidently created rock slides! It was a tough trip, but it was more of an adventure that way. When we got to the top, there were no indian ruins. Just a flat area where we think they might have lived... It was fun anyway!
I may or may not be really sore. I haven't hiked like that in a looooooong time.
Also, watch this video, it's really cute:
